Detroit, Michigan – Yesterday, a man from Detroit attended his murder trial in court and ended up as guilty of murdering a Marine and trafficking a 16-year-old girl.

The man who was found guilty is Travun Eugen-Jani Baskerville. A year ago, he murdered Douglas Calhoun, also known as “Chef Doug.”

However, that wasn’t just the case. He was involved in the human trafficking of a girl, who at the time was 16.

This is how the story started according to the trafficking victim:

Last year on June 1st, the girl had agreed to meet up with Baskerville at his house.

On the same day, she had arranged for a meet up with Cahloun at Baskerville’s home.

During the hearing yesterday, she revealed more information on what happened on June 1st.

She said that she was dating Baskerville at the time and he would force her to have sexual interaction with older men illegally. Basically, she was involved in a human trafficking situation against her will, under the age of 18.

When Cahloun got to Baskerville’s house, the two got into an argument while the girl was there as well.

That’s when Baskerville pulled his gun out and shot Cahloun multiple times.

Afterward, she and Baskerville carried his body out and hid it in a dumpster near a house.

Police later found Cahloun’s body on July 7th inside a barrel by a house on Greydale Ave in Detroit.

Cahloun used to be a U.S. Marine before he became a full-time chef.

The next day when “Chef Doug” did not go to either of his two jobs, people reported him as missing and it did not take long for the police to find out who was responsible for his death.

Now, Baskerville will be sent4enced on August 7, 2018.
